I have two Majestic White Shepherds, and they are both magnificent dogs. Purple Rain is 4 years old, a big strong, gorgeous and athletic girl. She’s smart, loyal and a wonderful member of our family.
When we wanted a second dog, I perused shepherd breeders all over the country, and not only White and Swiss Shepherd breeders. I wanted a male puppy with a solid temperament who came from a careful breeding program. I found and corresponded with other great breeders, but I couldn’t find anybody with the careful attention to genetics coupled with a loving approach to raising healthy, happy pups right in her own home who could match Ven Grasso at Majestic White Shepherds.
I asked if I could come meet and help out with the litter when they were about 6 weeks old and Ven graciously said yes. Before the day was up, her ‘Green Boy’, now Majestic’s Ready-Willing-n-Abel (Abel), had clearly chosen me. He makes eye contact like no dog I’ve ever known.
Abel has just turned one as I write this. He is gentle, calm and sweet and a terrific younger brother to his more intense ‘sister,’ Rain. The two dogs share no ancestors going back 5 generations, so it isn’t repeat breeding luck that got me two great dogs. It was Ven’s tireless work and investment in developing the breed and raising even-tempered, lovely dogs. Count yourself lucky if you get to bring one of these dogs into your home!

I am prejudice when it comes to White Shepherds and love them because of their nature and how they differ from their other shepherd cousins. I purchased my White Swiss Shepherd from Ven. In essence my third white shepherd. I went to Ven because of her breeding ethics and wanting to ensure that she develops healthy puppies. Ven goes above and beyond what most breeders do to ensure the puppies are healthy by obtaining genetic DNA to ensure that the parents do not have any congenital medical issues that can be passed on to the offspring and taking the high bar of no inbreeding for at least 5 generations. Most breeders do not do that and it is important. It not to say that you won’t get a sick puppy but the chances are far fewer with Ven’s ethic breeding practices. I know of her practices as when I was thinking on breeding one of my white shepherds with her dog, these were the criteria Ven had to even consider breeding her dog with mine. These practices were and are important to me.
The girl I purchased from Ven is sweet, very affectionate, smart and gentle. Most of all I know that she is healthy. I am very happy with my puppy that I got from Ven not to mention she brings me a lot of joy and makes me laugh. She is gentle with children, other dogs, cats especially kittens and she is just a year old and would trust her alone with children, dogs, cats and kittens.

My husband and I found Ven after losing our beautiful 14-year-old white shepherd. We were devastated and only wanted to meet a reputable breeder and her pack — not necessarily bring home a puppy just yet.
I remember my first conversation with Ven. She had two litters on the ground that weren’t yet old enough for visitors, but she invited us to come meet her pack as soon as they were. She also gave me references from past puppy parents so I could learn more about her breeding program and the pups she produces. Ven answered every question and concern we had — the health and temperament of her pups mattered most to us, and she assured us the parents are fully health tested, something that was just as important to her.
When the puppies were old enough for visitors, Ven reached out, and we made our way to Majestic White Shepherds. We immediately fell in love with Ven herself. Then she brought out her older dogs to meet us — I remember falling for Luke the moment he walked right up and pressed himself against me. Then she let some of the puppies out, and they were perfect.
I’ll never forget it: all the puppies went one way, and one little guy came right over to my husband and me, plopped down on the floor beside me, and stayed there — as though we’d met before, as though he already knew we were meant to be together, at only six weeks old.
That little puppy who picked us is named Banner. He’s now two and a half — a regal, confident, intelligent, protective, quirky, headstrong German Shepherd, deeply bonded to his family. And Ven has never left our side. Questions, concerns, accomplishments, milestones — she has been there for all of it.

The love she pours into these babies shines through in my Banner every single day. We are so madly in love with him, and forever grateful to Ven for gifting us this perfect boy. We consider Ven part of our family and love her to pieces. Here’s a picture of our Banner, the day we met at 6 weeks, at 1 year old, and now, at 2.5 years old.

This is Majestic’s Winter Promise, 2 1/2 years old.
Simply put, she is the best dog I have ever owned. Intelligent, intuitive, well-mannered, easy to train, and eager to please.
Always smiling, she impresses everyone she meets. I couldn’t imagine my retirement life without her. No health, food, or allergy issues.
I am so glad that I went to New York to meet Ven and her dogs. I would get another puppy from her in a heartbeat.

In 2020 I started my search for my next best friend. I was working long hours, but was planning to retire in the next couple of years, and I wanted to start my next chapter with a new family member. I’ve been a life long lover/owner breeder of the German Shepherd. I was two when we moved in with my Gramma, she had Polly, that was it, the GSD was in my blood forever. I started my search looking for the perfect GSD, then thought that I would look for a White GSD, from there I jumped into the Rabbit hole of the White Swiss Shepherd AKA Berger Blanc Suisse, I had not heard of the separated breed until then….. Well I was hooked.
I live in Central NY and was looking at breeders of the WSS all over the country. I printed a picture of my dream grown dog and put it on my wall in my office. (I still have it) I was more than willing to travel as far as necessary. By Gods grace I found Ven and Majestic White Shepherds. I fell immediately in Love with Ven’s pack. We started our communication back then and I’ve watched her beautiful pack grow. I drove out and met the one that made Majestic White Shepherds what it is today, Ven. I could not have asked for anyone more impressive of not only her knowledge and care but her love & continued improvement of the breed. I was willing to wait as long as it took.

Then one night I had a dream. I dreamt that Beau was born. (I was originally waiting for a July litter) I called Ven and had to tell her about my dream. Ven then told me that she had an unexpected litter. Jasmin / Tovin. Jasmin had one male on March 22nd 2023 I knew immediately that this was my boy Beau.
If I said Beau was perfect, I would not be giving the total picture. Beau is stunning, not only in looks but brains. He is the easiest pup I’ve ever had the blessing to live / love / train with. He is a show stopper in every way. I’m stopped and asked if he is a wolf, lol Ven said to tell them, Dire Wolf.

Majestic White Shepherds is the first time I’ve gone through a breeder to get a dog. I’ve been a long-time lover of German Shepherds and when I learned there are white Shepherds out there I knew I wanted to have one in my life. I must say that Majestic White Shepherds has been an amazing experience and I would absolutely seek out another dog from them anytime! My bright little fluff-ball, Heidi is an amazing dog. Healthy, energetic, smart, loving, and she gets along extremely well with my older German Shepherd. The two of them together is quite a sight! Thank you Majestic White Shepherds for providing a wonderful experience. I look forward to sharing all of Heidi’s exploits with you!

December 10 2016, One of the most affectionate, adorable beautiful puppies was born into the world. She later became my Foxhunt Majestic Lady Akasha. I consider her one of my most special blessings. She is always aware of me and always there for me. Due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances and some medication side affects, I have found myself unlike myself dealing with mood swings and depression, but I had no idea a dog born with natural ability to see my needs would become my emotional support. Akasha is a dog that plays hard and loves deeply. She is always ready for what you require. She is also one of the most easily trained dogs I’ve ever encountered. Once she understand what you’re asking of her, it’s set. Akasha is also a very loyal dog that chooses to be with me over all others. She is truly a companion. Lady Akasha is just that… A Lady. And she is the LADY of my Life!

Lily was born December 10th 2016. I will never forget the day I got the call saying my baby girl was born. I remember crying out of joy. She was only a few hours old and my life already felt complete. Weeks later I made the 18-hour drive down to Florida to pick up my little princess. I wasn’t sure how to feel, when I arrived my excitement was through the roof and I couldn’t wait to finally meet her. I went in the house and there she was! More beautiful than pictures and the bond was already strong. From that day on my life has changed for the best. Lily was made me see the good in life and made me strong. Without Lily I’m not too sure where I would be right now, my dreams are coming true. She never ceases to amaze me! From her first dog show beating all the other white shepherds at only 5 months old I knew I had a winner. Lily has made me proud and has yet to lose. I can surely say Lily has saved my life. Thanks to Ven I can live my life normally.

It’s hard to find a picture of Axel without his brother Bruder right by his side, but I absolutely love this one because it captures his classic Majestic grin!
If you’re fortunate enough to be selected by Ven to love and care for one of her precious puppies, you’ll soon discover that they all seem to share this beautiful smile! They love to grin for the camera, and once you’ve seen a Majestic smile, you’ll recognize one anywhere. You’ll see!
Axel is, quite simply, the best dog in the world. He’s smart, kind, well-mannered, silly, loyal, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. Yet, we know without question that he would lay down his life to protect his family.
He loves going for walks and sniffing absolutely everything along the way. But his favorite thing in the world is simply being near his family. He follows us from room to room, content to sit quietly and watch whatever we’re doing.
Axel also has a few adorable quirks that make him uniquely Axel. For example, he insists that he needs a “lift” to get into the car or onto the bed. Trust me, he doesn’t! But he loves being pampered and waited on, and we’ve happily obliged. It’s one of those silly little things that makes him so endearing.
And then there’s his paw.

Whenever Axel sits beside you, he gently places one paw on your hand. Ven told us that his father did the very same thing, which makes this little gesture even more special. It’s as though he’s reminding you just how connected he feels to you.
He looks deep into your eyes with such love and affection that it’s impossible not to tell him a hundred times a day how much you love and cherish him.
His nickname is “Handsome,” and he answers to that just as readily as he answers to Axel. And handsome he is!
If any prospective Majestic family ever has questions about Ven, her dogs, or a future litter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Roark family. Ven would be happy to share our phone number. Just make sure you have plenty of time because I could talk about Axel all day!
You will never regret becoming part of the Majestic family.
Ven doesn’t simply place her puppies in homes. She welcomes families into her life and entrusts them with dogs she has loved from the very beginning. And that love doesn’t end when you bring your puppy home.
She will always love the dog she entrusted to your care, and she will always be there for you.
For our family, Ven has become so much more than a breeder. She’s become our friend, and she’s become family.
And every single day, when we look into Axel’s beautiful eyes and see that unmistakable Majestic grin, we’re reminded of just how fortunate we are that she trusted us with him.

What a stunning dog!! Ohhhhhhh myyyyy goodness
Our Majestic dogs are simply the BEST! Every time I read another testimonial, I find myself thinking, We’re all describing the very same dog! Gorgeous, loving, sweet, intelligent, kind, gentle, and fiercely loyal.
And that is no coincidence. It all begins with Ven.
Ven has done so much more than raise beautiful dogs. She has helped complete so many families, bringing immeasurable love and joy into their homes.
What makes Ven so extraordinary is that she gives every family a little piece of her own heart. She pours her love into these precious dogs and then trusts each of us to love and cherish them as deeply as she does.
What a beautiful legacy she’s creating, one dog, one family, and one piece of her heart at a time.
